I can't even begin to explain how much I loved these books!

I'm only now just discovering the whole phenomenon of 'book hauls' and 'vlogs', and thank God I have cause thanks to this little social media tool I have been able to find out about tons of new books which other book-lovers seem to love.

I went into the 1st book a little blind - hadn't really read much of synopsis apart from those of book vloggers - and I'm glad I did so cause this book is a little complex to say the least.

The thing that was so intriguing for me with these books is how completely clueless the reader is (since it's told in a first person narrative from Mara's POV) throughout the whole book, therefore you really feel Mara's frustration when she cant remember what happened - the only real advantage point we have as readers is being able to remember all the dreams she has (especially in the second book when she has the - what I assume to be - flashbacks of her life in India).

Then we have Noah Shaw (who arguably makes the book what it is). If it weren't for the amazingly-loveable-hot creation of Noah Shaw I'm not sure how I would feel about this series. He's the mysterious and handsome stranger at first, who soon becomes the only person that Mara can rely on. I fell in-love with him in the 1st book right after his "let me try" plead and then in the second one you not only see what an amazing person he is but you also learn more about his 'power' (for lack of a better word). I'm still not quite sure how I would classify this series, it certainly has a paranormal/supernatural/fantastical tone but it's not completely surreal. As far as the romantic scenes go they are mostly PG13 safe for a few odd ones here and there, but this is easily one of the most sexually charged books just due to the plain physical attraction both protagonist feel for each other.

Finally, can we take a second to admire how AWESOME Daniel is??! He has got to go down as one of the best fictional big-brother in history!

Also, not to be a bitch or anything but I'm not sure I like Indi a whole lot... I mean as far as mother's go she's fine but it's a little worrying that she doubts her daughter so much. Then again Mara does claim to be seeing supposedly dead people alive again so I should maybe cut her some slack.

I believe that 'The Retribution of Mara Dyer' is due to be released at some point in November 2014, and so I can honestly say that the wait will be painful!!
